About me

I see beauty in everything. But why is it that it takes someone like me to make a photograph before somebody actually looks? Why is it that people look, but then don't see? We take so much for granted in our busy modern lives. Even for me to stop and pause, look and appreciate just what is around, can so often feel like a luxury or a stolen moment. Working in the busy cities of London and Barcelona is especially true of this and indeed these days can be said of much of the countryside too. When I can, I like to find time to take photographs of our beautiful world, but I'm constantly amazed at those so busy rushing around, jogging, biking, chatting and using their mobile phones. They can only pay scant attention to the very essence of what makes their surroundings what they are. So, it is with this in mind that I capture a moment that to me is obvious, but seems to go unnoticed. I hope you enjoy my stolen moments. I hope you enjoy my photography. Julian Seal.
